TILTSENSORS AND TILTMETERS

A tiltmeter is an instrument for measuring very small changes in the vertical level, either as a consequence of the deformation of a structure, or as part of a system for monitoring the rotation of a geotechnical mass. Tiltsensors measure the vertical rotation in either one or two axes. Sensors can be installed into a variety of devices, providing a precise and reliable solution.

Electrolevel Beam Sensor

Electrolevel Beam Sensor

The Electrolevel Beam Sensor detects differential movement and rotation in structures in the vertical plane. Two versions of the beam sensor are available: horizontal for monitoring settlement or heave and vertical for monitoring lateral displacement and convergence.

MEMS Tiltsensor

MEMS Tiltsensor

The MEMS Tiltsensor is based on the Soil Instruments In-Place Inclinometer (IPI) sensor and is designed for attaching to structures where a large tilt range is required.

Portable Digital Tiltmeter

Portable Digital Tiltmeter

The Digital Portable Tiltmeter is used to measure the angular difference between the sensors axis when held or placed on the X and Y planes of the tiltplate.
